Marin Tides

Marin Tide Alerts by Email

Free Marin County tide emails: your spot's tides every Sunday, a warning when the water runs higher than the tide tables, a heads-up before every king tide, and the night before a good tidepool low. Pick one spot or all of Marin.

Your tides this week

Every Sunday evening, the coming week of high and low tides at your spot, with a note when a daylight minus tide or a king tide falls in it. Pick All of Marin and you get Stinson Beach, Tomales Bay and Sausalito.

High-water warnings

NOAA measures the real water level around Marin every 6 minutes. When the water runs 0.75 ft or more above the tide tables and a high tide is a few hours away at your spot, you get an email with the predicted high and about how high it could reach.

King tide heads-ups

Two days before each of the highest tides of the season, with the time and height of the high at your spots. These are the tides that put water on Shoreline Highway, the Sausalito waterfront and the San Rafael Canal.

Tidepool lows

The evening before a daylight minus tide at your spot, with the time and height of the low, so you can be on the reef at Duxbury, Agate Beach or Point Reyes an hour early.
